South Tyrolean Speck Festival 2024
On the last weekend in September, the Plan de Corones ski resort hosts the South Tyrolean Speck Festival for the second time.
For two days, this renowned tourist resort, which takes its name from the surrounding mountain range of the same name, will give you the opportunity to explore the world of speck, one of South Tyrol's best-known typical products.
A rich programme of events awaits you from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music, stalls and tasting tours in which you can delight your palate with many speck specialities.
A journey of discovery of traditional flavours accompanied by excellent South Tyrolean wines and cheeses. Guided excursions to the farms are also organised. A full immersion to learn more about the producers of this South Tyrolean culinary product, its history, production and, above all, tasting the products.

This gastronomic event will have as its backdrop the beauty of this enchanting South Tyrolean landscape, an unparalleled panorama of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Alpine ridges.
The venue can be reached from 9 a.m. by ski lifts from three locations: from Brunico/Riscone, San Vigilio/Passo Furcia and Valdaora/Gassl, which will take you to an altitude of 2,275 m in just a few minutes.
